IK Multimedia is a music software and hardware company founded in Modena, Italy, in 1996 by Enrico Iori and Davide Barbi. It makes tools for guitar, recording, instruments and content creation. Its slogan is Sound Better.

Its guitar tools include AmpliTube amp and effects modeling, introduced in 2002, and TONEX, which captures amplifiers and cabinets as Tone Models. Recording products include the T-RackS mixing and mastering suite, launched in 1999, iRig mobile interfaces and iLoud studio monitors. The iLoud Precision range offers bass management and mounting points for immersive monitoring setups.

The company continues design and production in Modena, bringing software and hardware into a shared workflow. Guitar tone, monitoring and mobile recording are part of the same brand.
